Original batik on Indonesian cotton 600 x 600 mm in ash frame

I sat down one spring morning and decided to experiment on a piece of cotton with some old dyes which had been sitting in an ice cube tray for days. I added water to revive them and ended up with some unusual faded colours, as I started to doodle this spring scene appeared. It never intended itself to be a picture it just arrived.
