I have been exploring ‘expanded painting’, experimenting with colour, meditation and wooden posts. The sweet chestnut posts have captured my imagination, each one has a strong character even before I paint them. Lent against the wall or standing upright, walking among them feels like I’m in the presence of beings.

For the Second year running I have my Post Art in the Royal Academy Summer show.

This year the show is curated by Alison Wilding RA who has chosen to explore climate. I created a piece in response to this called ‘Post Climate Stripes’ based on the climate stripes created by Chris Hawkins MBE. The show runs until August 21st 2022 so still time to visit this fantastic show.

Currently on display in the Lecture Room
