A batik painting worked on at the same time as Chinese Lanterns. The flowers were picked from my garden in the Autumn, all my favourites, Nasturtiums, September, Chinese Lanterns, Veronica. While I was working from this still life directly on to the cotton I had my white cat Percy sitting on my shoulder talking to me, she was a mighty weird siamese cat.
